Chia Seeds

Chia seeds come from salvia hispanica, a flowering mint plant native to parts of Mexico and Guatemala. Chia Seeds are tiny edible seeds. They are a superfood, packed with essential nutrients. They are very rich in omega-3, antioxidants, fibre & protein. The best thing is that chia seeds are keto-friendly. People use chia for several conditions. The most popular is weight loss. Due to the excessive fibre content found in chia seeds, they play a very important role in weight loss. Chia seeds include lessening appetite and weight, lowering triglycerides, and regulating blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes.

Chia seeds can be added whole or ground to smoothies and juices. You can also mix into yoghurt and oatmeal, or sprinkled on top of a salad. If you’re adding the seeds to a drink or a “wet” dish like porridge, they’ll swell up slightly while you eat but retain a slight crunch.
